Job Summary:

PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain frontend modules using
PHP (CodeIgniter)
and
jQuery
.
Integrate and consume
RESTful APIs
for user authentication, content delivery, and subscription features.
Work with
Shaka Player
for secure and adaptive video streaming (DRM & non-DRM content).
Ensure smooth playback experience, responsive UI, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with design, backend, and QA teams to implement new features and fix issues.
Manage code using
version control systems
like Git.
Deploy updates via
CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills:

34 years of hands-on experience in
PHP development
, especially with
CodeIgniter
.
Strong frontend skills in
jQuery
, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience in integrating and working with
REST APIs
.
Deep understanding or hands-on implementation of
Shaka Player
for video playback.
Good knowledge of
DRM (e.g., Widevine)
and
non-DRM
video streaming techniques.
Experience with
version control systems
like
Git
.
Experience in
CI/CD pipelines
for code deployment
