The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Dispensing Medications: - Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions. - Ensure proper labeling, storage, and inventory management of medications. 2. Patient Counseling: - Provide clear instructions and advice to patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions. - Address patient queries and concerns regarding medications. 3. Clinical Services: - Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy. - Monitor medication therapy for efficacy and safety. 4. Inventory Management: - Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating medications. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 5. Quality Improvement: - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety. - Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacotherapy. Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent. - Master's Degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or specialized certifications (e.g., Pharm.D.) are preferred. - Current registration with the relevant pharmacy council or regulatory body. Skills and Experience: - Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication management. - Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred. - Excellent communication and patient counseling skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
