Pharmacist

Job Summary:

The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications as per prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, advising patients on medication use, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and allergies.
• Provide information and counseling to patients on correct medication usage.
• Maintain inventory of medicines, placing orders and checking for expiry.
• Store medicines in appropriate conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.).
• Ensure proper documentation of sales and billing.
• Maintain pharmacy licenses and ensure compliance with drug laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with doctors and nurses for medication clarification and supply.
• Manage controlled substances with strict documentation and security.
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions, if any.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: D. Pharm / B. Pharm / M. Pharm from a recognized institution.
• License: Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration is mandatory.
• Experience: 0–3 years (freshers can be considered).
• Sound knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills for billing and inventory software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month
