Job description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced PGT Physics teacher capable of teaching senior secondary students under both the Cambridge International (IGCSE, AS & A Levels) and CBSE curricula. The ideal candidate should be passionate about Physics, innovative in teaching methods, and committed to academic excellence. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons as per CIE (IGCSE & A Levels) and CBSE standards. Design and implement assessments that meet both curriculum requirements. Prepare students for board and external examinations with a strong focus on conceptual clarity and application. Maintain updated records of students’ progress and provide timely feedback. Use a variety of teaching strategies, including experimental, inquiry-based, and digital tools to enhance learning. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events. Provide academic support and mentorship to students as needed. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate interdisciplinary learning. Ensure laboratory safety and proper maintenance of Physics lab equipment. Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in Physics with a B.Ed. (Mandatory for CBSE; desirable for CIE). Minimum 3-5 years of experience teaching Physics at the senior secondary level. Experience teaching both CIE and CBSE curricula is highly preferred. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Proficiency in using digital tools and online teaching platforms. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Cambridge assessment standards and CBSE board patterns. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Continuous learner with an openness to feedback and professional development.
