We are looking for Lead for Interior Trims Design

Key Performance Indicators :

• New concept generation and evaluation on the basis of available inputs w.r.t vehicle architecture and other interfaces/boundaries.

• Exposure to Work from Styling phase until TKO phase.

• To ensure during all project development, the technical feasibility, the design robustness, the component manufacturability and the compliance of technical documentation, through the coordination of engineering (if necessary) and product suppliers.

• To point out the critical issues or any infringements of Design/Test Standards and identify the actions needed to respect the assigned targets.

• To manage, together with Design team, the design/installation DFMEAs execution performing the risk assessment and to provide support during execution.

• To make available the documentation necessary to implement engineering changes (ECNs), to request their economical evaluations, to support the PR during the approval phase and to guarantee the associated drawings release.

• To ensure the tooling release process.

• To carry out the diagnostic activities on the relevant systems/components.

• Design, development of interior products Cockpit, Door Trims, Instrument Panel, Center Console.

• Should be able to design and develop the master section, concept detailing independently.

• Candidate should have executed at least couple of related engineering projects throughout the product lifecycle.

• Creation and modification of CAD models and drawings in required CAD software.

• To follow defined processes & customer standards and maintain quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliveries.

• Customer data management.

• Perform quality check as per established guidelines.

• Guide, support and train Engineers, Junior Engineers in day-to-day design activities.

• Whenever required take responsibility of a product and manage small team to execute the tasks.

Critical Skill Sets (Technical) :

• Good knowledge in CATIA V5 or V6

• UG NX will be added advantage.

• Exposure to automotive engineering and design.

• Experience & working knowledge on PLM Tools. Preferable experience in ENOVIA PLM – 3D Experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Team orientation and willingness to learn new skills

• Experience of automotive plastic product design for cockpit
