Greetings from Sarvodaya Hospital, Greater Noida West Preferred candidate profile Sarvodaya Hospital Greater Noida West is looking for- Job Title: OPD Pharmacy Incharge Department: Pharmacy Location: Sarvodaya hospital, Greater Noida West (NABH Accredited) Reporting To: Head of Pharmacy Employment Type: Full-time Job Purpose: To oversee the smooth functioning of the OPD Pharmacy, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe dispensing of medicines, inventory control, compliance with NABH standards, and providing effective customer service in alignment with hospital policies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Pharmacy Operations Management Supervise day-to-day functioning of the OPD pharmacy counter. Ensure all prescriptions are processed accurately and dispensed promptly. Maintain compliance with all pharmacy-related SOPs, legal, and regulatory requirements. Ensure temperature and storage standards for medicines are maintained. 2. NABH Compliance & Documentation Implement and monitor NABH pharmacy-related standards and documentation. Maintain proper records for indenting, procurement, stock receipt, expiry tracking, batch recalls, and disposal of expired medicines. Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by internal or external agencies. 3. Inventory & Procurement Manage and monitor inventory levels of all drugs and consumables for OPD pharmacy. Coordinate with purchase and stores for timely replenishment. Prevent pilferage, expiry losses, and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed. 4. Patient Service & Safety Ensure courteous and clear communication with patients about medication usage, dosage, and side effects when needed. Address and resolve patient or doctor concerns related to drug availability or quality. Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and patient education as per norms. 5. Team Supervision & Training Lead, train, and supervise pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and billing staff at the OPD counter. Conduct regular performance reviews and assign duties as required. Provide training on SOPs, new drugs, hospital software, and NABH documentation. 6. Coordination with Other Departments Work closely with OPD doctors, nursing, billing, and IT teams for smooth coordination. Ensure synchronization between hospital HIS and pharmacy software for real-time data entry and billing. Qualifications & Experience: B.Pharm / D.Pharm (M.Pharm preferred) Experience in a NABH-accredited hospital is mandatory Key Skills: Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and drug formulations Familiarity with NABH documentation and quality indicators Inventory and stock control expertise Excellent communication and leadership abilities Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS) and pharmacy software Interested candidates may share their profile on deepika.bhainsora@sarvodayahospital.com or WhatsApp their CV on 7200175988 ( Deepika Bhainsora) *** Kindly note, candidates with relevant experience as OPD Pharmacy Incharge only need to apply.
