Job Summary:

The Nursing Educator is responsible for the academic and clinical instruction of nursing students. This role involves curriculum development, teaching, mentoring, and evaluating student performance in classroom and clinical settings. The educator ensures that instruction meets current industry standards and aligns with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and implement nursing curricula aligned with accreditation standards and institutional goals.
• Deliver engaging and evidence-based instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
• Evaluate student performance through examinations, practical assessments, and clinical evaluations.
• Supervise students in clinical rotations and liaise with clinical site staff to ensure quality experiences.
• Stay updated with current nursing practices and incorporate best practices into instruction.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and accreditation activities.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students.
• Assist in the development of course materials, syllabi, and assessment tools.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to scholarly activities, if applicable.
