Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented New Product Development Engineer with hands-on experience in plastic injection molding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product innovation from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support new product development projects involving plastic components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, tooling, quality, and manufacturing.
Develop and validate 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using tools like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Participate in mold design reviews and coordinate with mold makers and suppliers.
Conduct feasibility studies, DFMEA, and design validation testing.
Support tooling trials, part sampling, and process optimization.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality systems.
Document all development activities and maintain project timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field.
25 years of experience in product development with a focus on plastic injection molding.
Proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of mold design principles.
Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DFM/DFA practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and project management abilities.
