Network Security Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Network Security Administration: Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls, Switches, End point protection, VPNs, and other security devices. Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect potential threats. Incident Response and Threat Management: Investigate, mitigate, and document security incidents and breaches. Respond to real-time security threats and alerts. Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards. Maintain and update documentation, including network diagrams and security configurations. User Access Management: Manage user access controls, including authentication mechanisms and identity management. Implement and monitor role-based access controls (RBAC). Monitoring and Reporting: Analyze, and report on security events and trends. Generate regular security reports and metrics for management. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with other IT teams to enhance the overall security posture. Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices.
