ob Summary: We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Assistant Farm Manager to support day-to-day operations on our diversified farm. This role includes hands-on management of organic crop cultivation , mushroom farming , and hospitality services such as guest tours, farm stays, or eco-tourism experiences. The ideal candidate will combine strong agricultural knowledge with hospitality and people skills to help create a sustainable, productive, and welcoming farm environment. Key Responsibilities: Organic Cultivation: Assist in planning, planting, maintaining, and harvesting seasonal organic crops. Ensure compliance with organic farming standards and certification requirements. Manage composting, crop rotation, pest management, and soil health. Maintain farm records, input usage logs, and harvest reports. Mushroom Farming: Oversee mushroom production including substrate preparation, inoculation, growth monitoring, and harvesting. Ensure optimal environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, cleanliness) in growing chambers. Track yields and manage quality control to meet production goals. Farm Hospitality: Coordinate and support farm stay programs, guest activities, farm tours, and events. Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through clean, welcoming facilities and informed staff interactions. Help manage hospitality staff, bookings, and basic food or accommodation services if applicable. Develop and promote agri-tourism experiences aligned with the farm’s ethos. Operational & Administrative Support: Supervise daily farm workers and seasonal labor teams. Maintain tools, equipment, and infrastructure. Monitor budgets, inventories, and supply orders. Assist in marketing produce and experiences through farm outlets or local markets. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Farm Management, Hospitality, or related fields. 2+ years experience in organic farming; experience with mushroom cultivation and/or farm tourism is a plus. Understanding of sustainable and organic agricultural practices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Hands-on approach with leadership ability and flexibility. Comfortable with both fieldwork and administrative responsibilities. Basic computer literacy (MS Office, farm management apps, etc.). Valid driver’s license (preferred).
