The Site Engineer is responsible for managing daily on-site activities, ensuring construction work is executed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines. They act as a link between design teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, labor, and suppliers to manage materials and timelines. Ensure quality control, safety protocols, and site cleanliness are maintained. Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly status to the Project Manager. Verify measurements and quantities for billing and material procurement. Resolve site issues and coordinate with consultants/architects for technical clarifications. Maintain documentation such as site reports, quality checklists, and photographs. Ensure adherence to construction schedules and escalate delays promptly. Requirements: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. 1–5 years of site execution experience (residential/commercial projects preferred). Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Proficient in reading architectural/structural drawings. Good communication, team coordination, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or Excel is a plus.
