We are looking for a skilled Computer Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing software applications related to Physical Security Systems (e.g., PIAM Access Control Systems, Milestone Video Management Application, Command Centre Application, BI and AI tools). This role blends technical proficiency, creative problem-solving, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The candidate will manage issues, troubleshoot, and ensure application functionality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain software applications to meet the needs of the organization. Manage and maintain software applications to meet the needs of the organization. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliability and functionality of applications. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues. Maintain and improve the performance of existing software applications. Document application management processes, including designs, workflows, and troubleshooting steps. Coordinate with relevant teams to gather Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) when issues arise. Report defects, monitor the operational status of applications, and ensure effective issue resolution. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Practical knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. Relevant experience in Physical Security Systems or Electronic Security Systems. Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment. Familiarity with IoT Security. Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python). Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs). Good understanding of APIs and SDKs. Familiarity with IP addressing, VLAN, L2 switches, Routers, and Firewalls. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency with Gen AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to enhance productivity. Ability to create reports, documents, and presentations. Additional Information: The role requires effective communication skills, both in spoken and written formats, along with the ability to manage emails and communications efficiently. Although the designation is Computer Applications Engineer, the role focuses on monitoring Physical Security Systems, managing Access Control Systems, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. The candidate will utilize their engineering qualifications and experience to troubleshoot issues, coordinate between teams, and monitor the operational status of security systems. LOCATION : Pune DATE : 28 April 2025 JOB TYPE : FULL TIME Salary: 9-10L GSOC Supervisor Position Overview: The GSOC Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Global Security Operations Center and manage the GSOC Analysts, ensuring the effectiveness of 24/7 CCTV and alarm monitoring, incident reporting, and resolution. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of security operations and ensuring that all incidents are managed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide GSOC Analysts in their daily tasks, ensuring adherence to security protocols and procedures. Oversee the continuous monitoring of CCTV feeds and alarm systems to detect and respond to security incidents. Review and analyze incident reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Coordinate the response to security incidents, including communication with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and implement training programs for GSOC staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Conduct regular performance evaluations of GSOC Analysts and provide feedback for improvement. Ensure all security equipment and systems are functioning correctly and report any issues for timely resolution. Prepare, maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the GSOC operations. Provide leadership during critical incidents and ensure effective incident management and resolution. Stay informed about the latest security threats and trends and incorporate this knowledge into GSOC operations. Proficiency in using CCTV and alarm monitoring systems. LOCATION : Pune DATE : 28 April 2025 JOB TYPE : FULL TIME Salary: 4-6L GSOC Analyst Position Overview: The SOC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of VOIS s operations and personnel through continuous monitoring of electronic security systems, incident reporting, and resolution. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a thorough understanding of security protocols. Key Responsibilities Work in Shifts as per roster created by GSOC Supervisor. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems 24/7 to identify and respond to security incidents. Coordinate with the Site Lead / Site Analysts across VOIS IN Locations. Have proper knowledge of electronic security systems (CCTV & Access). Generate and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Monitoring of material movement. Possess excellent knowledge and command of e-security systems. Support internal and external audits. Conduct event assessments and deploy manpower as needed. Monitoring of building evacuation drills. Manage the entire facilitys manned guarding effectively from the GSOC. Act as a Supervisor when required for short durations. Provide necessary support to the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Proficient in drafting comprehensive global reports and travel advisories, ensuring clear communication and timely dissemination of critical information
