Job Title: Software Engineer II Location: India Department: Software Development Reports To: Manager of Development Employment Type: Salaried Exempt Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer II to join our development team at Surgical Information Systems working on our Surgical Notes applications This mid-level position is ideal for candidates with solid experience in C#, SQL, and React, and a desire to contribute to both legacy and modern web/web form application development Familiarity with WebForms is a plus as we maintain and gradually modernize parts of our legacy application stack, Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and React, Write and optimize queries and stored procedures using SQL Server, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality code, Maintain and support existing applications, including those built with ASPDot net WebForms, Identify areas for improvement in software architecture and contribute to refactoring efforts, Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend practical applications to enhance the team's productivity and product capabilities, Qualifications Required: 3+ years of professional experience in software development, Proficiency with C# and the Dot net Framework/Core, Strong understanding of SQL Server, relational database design, and performance tuning, Hands-on experience developing front-end applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, Familiarity with version control systems (e-g, Git), Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern web service development, Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Preferred Experience maintaining or migrating applications built with ASPDot net WebForms, Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks, Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Effective verbal and written communication abilities, A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude, Ability to work independently and take ownership of features and tasks,
