Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine microbiological testing of water, raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct environmental monitoring of clean rooms and production areas.
Execute microbial limit tests, sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and identification of microorganisms.
Validate and monitor sterilization processes
Maintain microbiology lab equipment and ensure proper calibration.
Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in compliance with cGMP and GLP standards.
Support regulatory audits and inspections by providing required data and records.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production teams to investigate and resolve microbial contamination issues.
Develop SOPs, protocols, and reports for microbiological activities.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or related life sciences field.
Experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology lab preferred (Freshers with strong academic background may also be considered).
Sound knowledge of microbiological techniques and relevant pharmacopeial standards (USP, IP, BP).
Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, and other regulatory guidelines.
Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
