Job Description

As a People Manager at Adobe, you will lead the design, development, and testing of a full-stack web application with a Java backend. You will collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to develop the technical vision and roadmap. Your role will involve mentoring team members to help them grow their careers and providing oversight and leadership for technical decisions. Building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud services will be a key responsibility, along with guiding the full lifecycle of projects from user story to maintenance. You will also develop technical specifications, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate your ideas. To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for software development and at least 9 years of experience in the field, including 2 years in a management role. Strong technical skills in designing and developing full-stack enterprise applications are essential, along with a deep understanding of software development methodologies and design patterns. You should have a proven track record of leading software projects, coaching and mentoring engineers, and recruiting and building strong teams. Experience with React/JS (frontend), Java/Springboot (backend), Kafka, MySQL/Postgres, and cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure) is preferred. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, along with excellent communication and persuasive abilities. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
