MGPS Technician

A Medical Gas Technician installs, maintains, and repairs medical gas systems, ensuring a safe and reliable supply of essential gases like oxygen, nitrous oxide, and medical air in healthcare facilities. They perform routine checks, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on medical gas pipelines, equipment, and related components. Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Installing, inspecting, and maintaining medical gas pipelines, valves, regulators, and associated equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in medical gas systems, including oxygen, nitrous oxide, and vacuum systems.
• Quality Control: Monitoring gas purity, conducting regular testing, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Emergency Response: Responding to medical gas emergencies, troubleshooting issues, and restoring functionality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, such as those from the NFPA, JCAHO, and local codes.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining adequate stock of medical gases and related supplies.
• Equipment Operation: Operating and monitoring medical gas production equipment, such as compressors and storage tanks.
• System Upgrades: Assisting with the installation and upgrading of medical gas systems.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and building relationships with healthcare staff.
• Safety Procedures: Following safety protocols for handling hazardous materials, including oxygen and nitrous oxide.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹29,344.19 per month
