Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for operating and monitoring the lecithin and oil refining units, ensuring consistent product quality, optimal process parameters, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and control lecithin processing units (degumming, drying, cooling, blending).
Supervise refining operations such as degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization.
Monitor process parameters, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
Perform routine quality checks and sample analysis with lab team.
Ensure safe startup, shutdown, and cleaning of plant equipment.
Maintain accurate logs of process data, downtime, and production.
Report equipment faults and assist in preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with dispatch, utility, and maintenance departments.
Follow SOPs and GMP, and ensure EHS compliance.

Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline.
45 years of experience in lecithin or edible oil refinery operations.
Knowledge of refining equipment like centrifuges, heat exchangers, vacuum systems, etc.
Strong understanding of process control, troubleshooting & safety practices.
Ability to work in shifts and manage emergencies.
