Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Duties:


    • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
    • Prescribe medication and monitor treatment progress.
    • Perform or assist in minor surgical procedures when necessary.
    • Conduct regular patient check-ups and follow-ups.
    • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with medical standards.

  2. Supervisory & Administrative Duties:


    • Supervise nurses and other healthcare staff in the execution of their duties.
    • Participate in ward rounds and case discussions.
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
    • Assist in managing emergency situations and on-call duties.

  3. Public Health & Preventive Medicine :


    • Participate in disease surveillance and immunization programs.
    • Conduct health education and awareness sessions for communities.
    • Contribute to public health reporting and documentation.

  4. Training & Development:


    • Mentor and train junior medical staff, interns, or students.
    • Attend and contribute to medical workshops and conferences.
