Job Description: Mechanical Draftsman

Position Title: Mechanical Draftsman
Department: Design/Engineering
Location: Aligarh
Experience Required: 1–2 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Creo software.
• Collaborate with design engineers to interpret project requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings.
• Modify and revise designs to address engineering challenges or incorporate new specifications.
• Ensure all technical drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.
• Assist in the creation of bill of materials (BOM) and maintain updated drawing records.
• Participate in design reviews to provide technical insights and improvements.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to drawings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a similar role, with a strong focus on mechanical drafting.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Creo. Familiarity with other CAD tools is a plus.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes
• Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
