Job Description: Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyses and writes test standards and procedures Maintains documentation of test results. Analyses test results and recommends corrective actions. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods. Insurance Domain knowledge Speciality Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C) Basic knowledge on Insurance processes, policy lifecycle Knowledge of Specialty Industry - Construction, Oil & Gas, Regional Trucking Knowledge on Specialty Lines such as Excess & Surplus, Professional & Management Liability, Surety Experience in working on Policy Management and Claims Management System Software for testing is desired Responsibilities: 3+ years test engineering experience. Understanding of QA processes and concepts including test plan, test case preparation, and testing methodologies, agile a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance. Define test plans, test suites, test cases as well as utilize automated tools to optimize the STLC. Experience in basics of Java or other Programming language Experience in manual testing. Design & Develop test case plan. Responsible for creating a Comprehensive test cases that covers end-end flow. Work closely with engineers and business owners throughout the development and testing life cycle, review requirements, specifications and technical design documents Drive the creation of test plans and test cases, efficiently execute test cases across all functional and UI areas of our products. Design, develop and execute test cases across all browsers. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
