Mammogram Technician

A Mammography Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for performing breast imaging exams, primarily mammograms, to detect and diagnose breast conditions, including cancer. They work with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care and Preparation:Explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety during the exam.
• Performing Exams:Operating mammography equipment to acquire high-quality images, including standard mammograms and specialized breast imaging techniques.
• Image Evaluation:Assessing the quality of images, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards, and preparing them for radiologist review.
• Equipment Management:Maintaining and troubleshooting mammography equipment, and performing quality control checks.
• Communication:Effectively communicating with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.
• Maintaining Records:Documenting patient information, exam details, and quality control data.
• Adhering to Safety Protocols:Following radiation safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Continuing Education:Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
