Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor – CNG Buses
Location: Ahmedabad
Department: Maintenance
Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Depot Manager
Job Purpose:
To supervise the daily maintenance and repair activities of CNG buses, ensuring high vehicle uptime, safety, and performance through timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
o Supervise mechanics, CNG technicians, and helpers.
o Assign and monitor daily work schedules.
o Ensure proper discipline, safety, and productivity.
2. CNG Bus Maintenance:
o Oversee preventive maintenance of CNG systems, engine, transmission, suspension, and brakes.
o Ensure compliance with OEM standards and safety regulations.
o Conduct inspections to ensure quality of repairs.
3. Breakdown & Fault Handling:
o Coordinate immediate response to on-road breakdowns.
o Diagnose faults related to CNG kits, fuel lines, and pressure regulators.
o Ensure timely resolution and documentation.
4. Inventory & Spare Parts:
o Monitor availability of spare parts, especially CNG-specific components.
o Coordinate with stores for timely issue and consumption tracking.
o Raise requisitions for critical items.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain daily job cards, maintenance logs, and service history of each bus.
o Report bus availability, breakdown frequency, and major faults to higher management.
6. Safety & Compliance:
o Conduct regular safety inspections of CNG cylinders and fuel systems.
o Ensure adherence to fire safety and gas leak protocols.
o Provide training and tool-box talks on CNG safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
