Mainframe CICS/MQ Systems Administrator

As a Mainframe CICS/MQ/Connect Direct System Programmer with 4-9 years of experience, you will be responsible for maintaining and customizing CICS Transaction Server and related products. Your strong knowledge of CICS TS, CICSplex, and CICS Transaction Gateway will be essential in performing key activities such as installing, upgrading, and applying maintenance for various products like CTG, CAFC, File Manager, Fault Analyzer, z/OS Debugger, Sysview, Enterprise COBOL, BMS/TS CICS, Assist/TS CICS, and CA Verify. Your expertise in Cobol, Assembler, VSAM, JCL, and security tools like CA-Top Secret/RACF will play a crucial role in updating and maintaining customized COBOL/Assembler programs. Additionally, your hands-on knowledge of tools like CAFC, File Manager, Fault Analyzer, z/OS Debugger, and Sysview will be valuable in ensuring the smooth functioning of CICS systems. You will be required to work on tasks such as installing new CICS components, updating CICS Web Services, regenerating webservices bind files and WSDL, generating copybooks and wsbind files, and performing RDO. Your ability to analyze CICS system dumps using IPCS and Fault Analyzer will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving issues. Furthermore, you will proactively monitor CICS and related software to prevent potential issues and optimize performance. Your basic knowledge of z/OS System Programming, dump analysis skills, and familiarity with MQ/DB2 and Adabas will contribute to your success in this role.
