Position Summary: Responsible for conducting the quality check of the material and products procured from various suppliers. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Drive the new supplier approval process along with the CFT team of Supply Chain, Design and Quality for supplier assessment, evaluation, and approval as per qualification process by maintaining official Approved Vendor List and Product approval requirements. Prepare and review of Quality Control plans for mechanical items as per Customer RFQ (like Module Mounting Structure, Safety Items, Lifeline, Walkways, Handrails, Cable tray, Inverter Frame etc.) procured from various OEM suppliers. Allocating of qualified third-party inspection agency for conducting in-line inspection, Final Inspection and reviewing of their Compliances & providing Material Dispatch Clearance. Conducting Third Party Lab testing of Mechanical components to ensure Reliability & Performance as per relevant IS standards. Analysing and closing NCR/SCAR reports through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) utilizing quality tools and techniques for Supplier & Customer Non-Conformities. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standard. Conducting the supplier training programs for enhancing the Quality of product. Generating metrics & dashboards for management review (Weekly/Monthly/ QBR reports). Conducting Internal Audits within the organisation as per the set frequency & closure of observations/ NC as per agreed TAT. Monitoring Supplier performance parameters to ensure the material Quality is meeting the specifications. Coordinating with Design & Engg team, Procurement to ensure Inspection documents are available prior inspection. Experience: Experience of 5 to7 years into similar manufacturing set up. Prior work experience in Solar or EPC is preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel & Powerpoint. Education Qualification / Additional Certifications: Diploma or BE/B.Tech from Mechanical Stream only. Skills /Competencies: Awareness of the industry standards and regulatory requirements in the solar sector. Ability to identify and address quality issues by employing systematic problem-solving techniques. Proficient in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers. Cost Optimization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Position Summary: The role will head the entire overall functioning of end-to-end purchase of Solar PV materials, establishing and maintaining global supplier networks, ensuring error-free transactions, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.It requires coordination with stakeholders, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring adherence to global purchasing policies for efficient management of procurement services and achievement of business targets. Key Roles & Responsibilities: SCM Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement procurement strategies to support solar project requirements/ Channel sales business requirement, ensuring alignment with company goals. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiencies across projects. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers for solar modules, inverters, transformers, cables, and other critical components. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of quality products and services. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term partnerships. Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, supplier selection, purchase order issuance, and follow-up. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee logistics, customs clearance, and coordination for timely material delivery to project sites. Cost Control and Budgeting: Monitor procurement expenses and ensure adherence to project budgets. Address issues related to quality, delays, or contractual disputes with suppliers. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and specifications. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and delivery status to senior management. Ovsersee Ware house & Logistics operation: Work closely with the logistics / ware house operation team for timely delivery of material, inventory management & implement the cost control measure to optimize the logistics cost without compromising quality and timelines. Experience: 8+ years of experience in procurement within the renewable energy or solar EPC industry SAP and MS Office knowledge is an essential requirement. Education Qualification / Additional Certifications: BE / B Tech (Electrical / Mechanical). Master preferred. Should have an experience working in EPC/Infra/Solar Sector Skills/Competencies: Should have collaborative & flexible style of working. Effective communicator with excellent oral & written skills. People management capability- ability to build a high performance team. Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in Solar PV purchasing fundamentals.
