Yard Operations Management: Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials in the yard. Ensure accurate inventory management and record-keeping. Maintain optimal yard layout for efficient material handling. Team Supervision: Lead and manage the yard staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning duties. Train employees on safety protocols and operational procedures. Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement. Safety and Compliance: Enforce adherence to safety regulations and use of PPE. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with environmental and legal standards. Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of yard equipment, including cranes etc. Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and servicing. Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to align yard activities with organizational goals. Address and resolve any operational challenges in the yard. Qualifications: Bachelors degree , Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in yard or warehouse management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office and SAP. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
