Local Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure robust implementation of

  UCPMP

  guidelines and regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Lead initiatives related to

  data protection laws (GDPR, DDPA)

  and internal data handling policies.
• Drive

  risk assessments

  , internal investigations, and root cause analysis in cases of suspected fraud or compliance breaches.
• Liaise with regional/global compliance teams to align local operations with global standards.
  
• Conduct training and awareness programs to build a strong compliance culture.
  
• Monitor compliance with anti-bribery, anti-corruption, antitrust, anti-money laundering, and trade compliance regulations.
  
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leadership on compliance-related matters.
  
• Maintain documentation and records to support audit and regulatory requirements.
  

Must-Have Requirements:

• 78 years of hands-on experience in

  Pharma Compliance

  within a reputed global or Indian MNC (e.g., Sun, Cipla, DRL, Zydus, Lupin).
• Proven track record in handling

  UCPMP compliance

  ,

  risk management

  , and

  fraud investigations

  .
• Knowledge of

  local regulatory landscape

  and global standards in compliance.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  
• Educational qualifications: Open – CS/LLB is not mandatory. Strong pharma compliance experience is key.
