Job Description

Role description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedLead API Automation Testerto join our dynamic QA team. This role will require a deep understanding of API testing methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Required Skills :

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of API automation testers to ensure the quality of API services and backend systems.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs and web services to ensure functional, regression, and load testing is covered.
Create and maintain automated test cases for all levels of API testing, including unit, integration, and system tests.

Skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least3+ yearsfocused onAPI automation.
Strong experience with API testing tools such as RestAssured
Experience with programming languages such as Java for test automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
Strong understanding of RESTful web services, HTTP methods, request/response formats (JSON, XML).
Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
