Job Description

As a Process Management Team Leader in the APAC time zone, you play a crucial role in overseeing the validation of data in the Aladdin Accounting Book of Record. This data is essential for generating client valuation reports and performance calculations. Your expertise in accounting within the Accounting & Control team enables you to efficiently manage and clear Quality Control checks, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting. In your role as a Team Leader, you are responsible for supervising the team's workflow, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards, and handling complex QC checks and queries. Effective communication with upstream operational teams is key to ensuring the timely receipt of information. You will also focus on continuous process improvement, actively seeking enhancements to the operating model to drive efficiency. Key responsibilities include supervising processes and team members, coordinating workflow across global teams, ensuring adherence to SLAs, and facilitating the production of valuation reports within set timeframes. You will also play a role in mentoring junior team members, supporting their development on a daily basis. Your role involves overseeing various Accounting Control Process Management tasks, implementing business controls, and ensuring consistency in processes across different regions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective solutions for escalated issues. To excel in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, client awareness, and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in PC tools such as MS Excel and MS Word, and experience in the Securities or Fund Management industry are essential. Previous management experience, along with the ability to develop people and analyze and solve problems, will be beneficial in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively. Overall, your role as a Process Management Team Leader requires a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and a continuous drive for improvement to ensure the team's success and contribute to the overall efficiency of the Accounting Control Process Management function.,
