Lead Backend Developer

The ideal candidate for the position of Senior Backend Lead should possess 6 to 12 years of backend development experience with a strong leadership track record. You must have a deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and the AWS ecosystem. Your role will involve leading the design and development of robust, scalable backend systems, integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and developing cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB. As a Senior Backend Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior team members, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance for backend components, ensuring adherence to software engineering standards and best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions. Excellent communication and team mentoring skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to work independently and solve complex problems. Candidates with prior experience working in fast-paced startup environments and exposure to DevOps practices or serverless architecture patterns will be considered a plus. The position is Full-Time and onsite in Trivandrum, Kerala, with a permanent contract. The compensation offered for this role is between INR 17,00,000 to 27,00,000 per annum.
