We're looking for an experienced Lead Application Developer proficient in PostgreSQL, database management, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate should have a solid track record of team leadership, designing complex applications, and transitioning databases to cloud-based platforms. The successful candidate will lead the development team, ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, and offer technical guidance and expertise. Key Responsibilities: - **Technical Leadership:** Provide guidance and leadership to the development team to deliver high-quality applications. - **Application Development:** Design, develop, test, and deploy complex applications using PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant technologies. - **Database Management:** Manage and maintain large-scale databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. - **Database Migration:** Lead database migration projects to cloud-based platforms like Google Cloud, including optimization tasks. - **Cloud Exposure:** Design and develop cloud-based applications utilizing services such as Google Cloud SQL. - **Team Management:** Mentor and coach junior developers, offering guidance to foster their growth. - **Code Reviews:** Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. - **Troubleshooting:** Address complex technical issues promptly and effectively. - **Communication:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - **Staying Up-to-Date:** Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and tools, applying this knowledge to enhance the team's skills and processes. Requirements: - **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - **Experience:** 12+ years in application development, focusing on PostgreSQL, database management, and PL/SQL.
