Job Title: Laundry Staff / Laundry Attendant Company Name: Galaxy Hospital Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Staff member to join our team. The Laundry Staff is responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, dried, folded, or ironed according to company or facility standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for guests, clients, or patients. Key Responsibilities: · Sort, wash, dry, and fold or iron laundry items, including linens, towels, uniforms, and personal items · Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment · Treat stains and inspect items for damage before and after laundering · Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area · Monitor inventory of detergents and laundry supplies and report needs to supervisor · Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards · Handle laundry with care and ensure no loss or mix-up of items · Tag or label personal items if applicable (e.g., in hospitals or care homes) · Assist with minor repairs to laundry equipment or clothing items (e.g., buttons, small tears) as needed Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent preferred · Previous experience in laundry operations (hospitality, healthcare, or commercial laundry) is a plus · Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and equipment · Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods · Good organizational skills and attention to detail · Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Working Conditions: · May involve working in hot, humid, or noisy environments · Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift · May require weekend, evening, or holiday shifts depending on facility needs · salary: 10K - 18K Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Paid sick time Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 – 18,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Paid sick time Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
