Machine Setup – Secure the raw material (metal/wood) in the chuck of the lathe machine. Read Technical Drawings – Follow engineering drawings or blueprints to understand the required dimensions and shapes. Tool Selection & Installation – Choose appropriate cutting tools and fix them in the tool post at correct angles. Precision Measurement – Use measuring tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check accuracy. Operate Lathe Machine – Adjust speed and feed rates to perform cutting, facing, turning, and drilling operations. Inspect Finished Workpieces – Check the quality, finish, and accuracy of the completed parts. Maintenance & Safety – Clean the machine, do routine maintenance, and strictly follow all safety guidelines. Required Skills: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Knowledge of machining techniques and cutting speeds Experience with measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.) Good attention to detail and accuracy Basic math skills Understanding of workplace safety procedures Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 16/06/2025
