Job Title: Sr. Team Member – Paint shop - Transformer Designation: Sr. Executive Education: ITI /Engineer/Diploma with NACE level 2 Experience: 3-5 Year Location: Bhopal. Role & Responsivities: Having good knowledge of Painting tank fabrications (Paint application) Oversee the painting process, including surface preparation and paint mixing. Ensure proper coordination with the production team and stores team to ensure availability of necessary paint materials and equipment. Monitor paint quality throughout the process, identifying and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain and update paint shop records, including inventory levels, paint consumption data, production, and waste records. Timely closing of internal observations, which are raised by internal and external quality teams and customers. Ensure proper storage and handling of paint materials to maintain their quality and lifespan. Optimize paint usage by implementing efficient mixing ratios as per defined standards and minimizing waste. Make sure tanks are properly inspected, including visual inspections, spatter, undercuts, and welding defects. To ensure to follow up with the production team for timely tank availability at the paint shop to maintain dispatch flow. Monitor and evaluate the paint shop processes to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines. Ensure all painting work is completed on time and within budget. Estimate painting times, ovens, staffing requirements, and related costs to measure production and maximise efficiency. Ensure that the requirement for rework is kept to a minimum. Regular updates on progress are to be reported to the production manager. Promotes a safe working environment using safety briefs, promotes PPE, and discusses job hazard analysis and accident prevention. Determine daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to team leaders. Encourage the team to involved in 5S, QC and other improvement activities.
