Role & responsibilities 1) Store Manager & Asst. Store Manager: Ensuring timely store opening & adherence to all store opening processes. Optimal utilization of manpower, team development, team building, & employee engagement Responsible for customer satisfaction, services and customer convenience. Asset maintenance, loss prevention, pilferage control, avoiding stockouts, and loss of sale Space management, maintaining hygiene & safety of staffs & customers Smooth stores operations & compliance Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to maintain accurate records. Implement and enforce proper inventory management procedures, including cycle counts and stock rotation. Role Overview We are seeking an energetic and hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) who brings a strong understanding of the Retail business and has field recruitment experience . This role is ideal for HR professionals who are passionate about partnering with business leaders, driving on-ground hiring, and improving employee experience at store levels. Key Responsibilities : HR Business Partnering : Partner with regional/store leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals. Provide strategic HR support across employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and exit. Build and sustain a positive work culture by driving employee engagement initiatives. Address employee relations issues promptly and professionally. Monitor and control attrition and absenteeism; design and implement retention strategies. Field Recruitment : Lead end-to-end recruitment for frontline and store-level roles (Store Managers, Sales Associates, Cashiers, etc.). Build a strong pipeline of candidates through local sourcing, job fairs, walk-ins, and referrals. Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for hiring needs. Conduct interviews, shortlist candidates, and ensure timely joining and induction. Maintain recruitment dashboards, metrics, and MIS for all hiring activities. Compliance & HR Operations : Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements at all locations. Support audits, documentation, and HR policy adherence across stores. Collaborate with Payroll, Admin, and Operations for smooth HR delivery. Required Qualifications & Skills : MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of HR experience with a focus on field recruitment and HR partnering . Prior experience in the Retail or FMCG industry is mandatory . Strong knowledge of recruitment tools, local talent markets, and statutory compliances. Proficient in Excel, HRMS, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a multi-location, fast-paced retail environment. Willingness to travel extensively to store locations.
