Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled GNC (Guidance, Navigation & Control) Engineer with strong expertise in autopilot systems, MATLAB, and Simulink. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, modelling, simulation, and testing of advanced GNC algorithms for autonomous systems. Job Responsibilities Design and develop GNC algorithms, autopilot design including trajectory planning, flight control, navigation solution and control algorithms for UAVs, missiles, or aerospace platforms. Develop dynamic system models and simulations using MATLAB/Simulink. Integrate and test control algorithms in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments. Analyse system performance and stability using classical and modern control theory approach. Work with inertial navigation systems (INS), GPS and other sensors for robust navigation solutions. Document design specifications, test plans, and technical reports. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including avionics, software, and systems. Job Requirements Bachelors or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink. Hands-on experience with autopilot or flight control systems. Solid understanding of control systems theory (classical and modern). Familiarity with dynamic modelling of flight vehicles. Knowledge of Kalman filtering and sensor integration is a plus. Experience with embedded systems or real-time platforms is an advantage. Preferred Skills Familiarity with C/C++ code generation from Simulink (Embedded Coder). Experience with flight test data analysis and tuning. Exposure to DO-178C, DO-254, or similar safety-critical standards (if applicable). Knowledge of ROS or real-time middleware is a plus. Experience with simulation tools (FEA, CFD) and design validation techniques is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects efficiently. Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies. Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM, etc.). Qualification Requirements BE/BTech in mechanical or relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
