JOB OPENING: VIDEO EDITOR – ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL | KOCHI BASED

We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to join our growing team at Virtualmedia Entertainments, a leading Malayalam entertainment channel based in Kochi. This is a mandatory Kochi-based role – candidates must be available for in-person work and interviews.

Job Role:

• Edit video content such as interviews, movie promos, news bites, event highlights, reels, and YouTube shorts.
• Handle fast-paced daily content production for social media and YouTube.
• Work closely with our content team to deliver engaging, high-quality videos.
• Add titles, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background scores as per content needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in video editing (showreel/portfolio required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic knowledge of color correction, sound design & motion graphics is a plus.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to trending formats.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Kochi.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 12 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
