Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Intern with a strong educational background in law, business, or analytics. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, enjoys working with data, and has hands-on experience with Google Sheets, Excel, and data analytics. As a Sales Intern, you will support our sales team with various tasks, analyze data for actionable insights, and assist in client interactions. This position involves regular client interaction, both virtually and in-person, and requires travel. The day-to-day Sales Support & Coordination ● Assist the sales team with lead generation, client outreach, and follow-up activities. ● Help coordinate and organize sales materials for meetings, presentations, and proposals. ● Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring that client information and sales activities are accurately documented. Data Analysis & Reporting ● Use Google Sheets and Excel to analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. ● Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track performance metrics. ● Assist in creating weekly and monthly reports to provide the team with key analytics and support data-driven decision-making. Market Research & Lead Generation ● Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and opportunities. ● Assist in preparing targeted lists of prospects based on industry, region, and other criteria. ● Research industry trends, competitors, and client needs to better understand the sales landscape. Process Improvement & Sales Operations ● Support the sales team in improving workflows and processes to enhance productivity. ● Help document sales processes, create templates, and suggest new tools or techniques to streamline operations. ● Collaborate with team members to identify areas where data analytics can optimize our approach to client engagement and sales. Client Interaction & Communication ● Assist in client communications, including responding to inquiries, scheduling follow-up meetings, and maintaining professional relationships. ● Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed, gaining experience in client-facing sales activities. ● Support account management by helping to address client questions and maintain satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills ● Education: Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a program related to Law, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. A background in law is strongly preferred. ● Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency with Google Sheets, Excel, Google Docs, and a keen interest in data analytics. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus. ● Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. ● Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. ● Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, project management tools, and other sales-related applications. ● Self-Motivated: A proactive learner who takes initiative and demonstrates a keen interest in sales and business development. About the role : This role will be part of an agile full-stack engineering team, responsible for the maintenance, stability, and improvement of the entire jhana.ai service. This teams primary tasks will include : integrating new product offerings; rehauling UI to optimize user experience; expanding the offered databases; closing all bug reports in a timely manner; maintaining the server and the microservices that support it; and more. All members of this team will work across diverse repositories and technologies in multiple languages as necessary. The day-to-day : This is an intermediate role distributed across research, engineering, and product. Relatedly, it is a combination of invention and optimization. These are the problem statements that this role will likely continue or begin our work on Develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications, with knowledge of Python and JS/TS-based frameworks appreciated. Low-level understanding of relational databases and SQL or similar technologies. Implementing scale and optimization for billion-scale ElasticSearch, and experience working with large ElasticSearch systems. Understanding of deploying and maintaining containerized and concurrent pipes on AWS with familiarity and experience using tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement MaterialUI-based designs and ensure a seamless user experience. Contribute to building and enhancing RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines and search stacks. Continuously optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery. Skills & Qualifications : Required Skills : Experience: Looking for 2+ years of experience Frontend : Proficiency in JavaScript or Typescript. Backend : Strong experience with API development and RESTful services, ideally with substantial experience in Django/Python. Databases : Solid knowledge of SQL and database design. Cloud : Hands-on experience with AWS for deploying and managing cloud-based applications. UI/UX : Experience with MaterialUI and collaborating on responsive, user-centric designs. Added Bonuses Containerization : Proficiency with Docker for containerized development and deployment. Search Technologies : Familiarity with ElasticSearch and implementing search-based features. LLM Knowledge : Understanding and hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) in applications. Vector Databases : Experience with vector databases, especially FAISS or Milvus, and how they integrate with machine learning systems. Search Stacks & Agents : Previous experience building search stacks, agents, or intelligent information retrieval systems.
