Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and providing support for Point of Sales platform/s for clients to enhance the Sales Process in life Insurance Distribution channels. As a passionate Engineer, you will focus on solving business problems through innovative engineering practices. Your expertise will be crucial in all phases of the software development lifecycle, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve common goals. Working closely with business units and IT teams, you will deliver cutting-edge technology to enable digital capabilities. Your responsibilities will include delivering technical excellence, translating business requirements into well-architected software solutions, participating in technical discussions, adhering to technical standards and processes, developing data integration strategies, and ensuring application delivery in compliance with IT policies. You will also contribute to problem-solving, team training, and development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design, development, and support of large web-based systems, with exposure to the complete software product lifecycle. Proficiency in Software Testing, Agile development methodologies, environment management, release management, code versioning, engineering best practices, and deployment methodologies is essential. You must have experience in frontend development using technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of Java, RESTful APIs, Microservices, ReactJS v16.8+, Redux, ES6, TypeScript, React Native, testing frameworks, RDBMS, NoSQL, transcompiler tools, build tools, performance optimization practices, component libraries, code version control tools, DevOps, cloud platforms, and Event Bus is required. Personal traits such as problem analysis skills, innovation, effective communication, teamwork, passion for quality software delivery, drive, commitment, and personal accountability are highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required, along with fluency in written and spoken English. With 6-8 years of experience, your primary skill should be Java Development, with additional expertise in Spring Boot Microservices, ReactJS, Core Java, JavaScript Development, and TypeScript.,
