Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care & Support Educate patients on fertility treatments, medications, and IVF procedures. Provide emotional support and counseling throughout the treatment cycle. Monitor patients during ovarian stimulation and egg retrieval processes. 2. Clinical Duties Assist in IVF procedures such as OPU (Ovum Pick-Up), Embryo Transfer (ET), and IUI. Administer fertility medications and injections as prescribed. Monitor patients for side effects or complications and report to the physician. 3. Coordination & Communication Coordinate scheduling of IVF cycles, ultrasounds, and lab tests. Maintain clear communication between patients, doctors, embryologists, and lab technicians. Explain instructions related to medication protocols, dietary restrictions, and follow-up visits. 4. Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate and confidential medical records. Document treatment plans, medication administration, and patient progress in the EMR system. 5. Compliance & Quality Follow hospital and national guidelines for patient safety and infection control. Ensure all equipment and supplies are sterile and available for procedures. Maintain knowledge of latest fertility practices and advancements. Qualifications: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution. Registered Nurse (RN) with State Nursing Council. IVF/ART training certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fertility clinic or women’s health setting. Experience in handling IVF protocols, injections, and patient education.
