Roles and Responsibilities: To actively engage with schools in Bengaluru, to assist and facilitate the adolescent empowerment curriculum. To build and maintain good rapport with teachers from project schools, follow up with them when necessary. Document learning sessions and events periodically. Plan logistics and strategies with the team. Travel to project locations to participate in project activities. Required skills, competences and attitudes : Proficiency in Kannada (Speaking and Writing) Working knowledge of English. Interest in working on gender-related issues and social change. Proficiency in using computers, office suite, and enthusiasm to learn new digital skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision, and be a team player. Willingness to work based on the needs of the project. Along with the above, preference is given to the following: If you have Kannada typing knowledge If you belong to marginalised or minority communities. Program Assistant – Education: Language Educator – Kannada Job Profile: 1. Designing and facilitating EdTech integrated classroom sessions focusing on building Kannada langauge skills 2. Facilitating teacher professional development programs on integrating EdTech in langauge teaching-learning, as part of the education team 3. Creating and curating digital curricular resources in Kannada 4. Visiting schools to assist teachers in integrating new pedagogies in the classroom.
