Job Title: IoT Senior Developer Experience: 4 to 5 Years Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled IoT Senior Developer with 4 to 5 years of experience in building and deploying low-code applications using the Mendix platform . The ideal candidate should be proficient in IoT device integration, cloud deployment, custom development, and UI/UX using Mendix, with solid experience in scalable enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable Mendix applications for IoT use cases. Integrate IoT devices and gateways using REST, MQTT, JSON , and other protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow from edge to cloud. Develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time data monitoring. Build and maintain Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and native mobile apps with offline support. Ensure seamless integration with systems like ERP, SCADA, etc. Optimize performance through SQL query tuning and application analysis. Develop custom widgets and responsive UIs using CSS/SCSS . Guide and mentor junior developers and contribute to team development. Utilize Java, JavaScript , and Transact-SQL for custom logic and data management. Required Skills: 45 years of hands-on Mendix development experience. Mendix Intermediate or Advanced certification. Strong knowledge of IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, CoAP, OPC UA). Experience integrating RESTful services and third-party APIs. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL , and Transact-SQL . Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Solid understanding of advanced domain modeling and UI design. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD , Agile methodologies, and version control (Git/SVN). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Mendix Rapid or Advanced Developer certification. Experience with edge computing and industrial IoT (IIoT) . Familiarity with time-series databases and platforms like Azure IoT Hub , AWS IoT Core , or ThingsBoard . Knowledge of IoT security best practices and secure app development.
