Instrumentation Engineer

As an Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and test instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes. You will be tasked with selecting and specifying instrumentation parts such as controllers, transmitters, and sensors to ensure optimal system performance. Utilizing CAD software, you will create detailed schematics, diagrams, and layouts for control systems. Additionally, you will employ software tools like PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems to develop and implement control plans effectively. Your role will involve conducting cost-benefit evaluations and feasibility studies for planned initiatives, working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will review and approve instrumentation and control system design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations. Preparing and delivering technical reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders will be a crucial aspect of your job. Furthermore, you will ensure that all instrumentation and control systems are designed and installed in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
