Instrumentation Designer

Role & responsibilities

Work as part of the  Engineering Team with specific responsibilities & Complete the work as a  3D Designer for oil refinery projects, LNG plant projects, and/or gas processing plant projects: 

• PJ coordination in terms of plot plan and piping layout with client, other disciplines, engineering subcontractors etc.,.
  
• Preparing plot plan / piping layout as per relevant international codes and/or project specifications/guidelines.
  
• Control status and schedule for piping layout activities.
  
• Review vendors drawing.
  
• Check deliverables and/or 3D Model submitted from Engineering Subcontractors.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  
• Work experience of more than 10+ years in all facets of Piping Engineering Design of large Oil & Gas/Petrochemical or EPC Projects.
  
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other codes and standards such as ASME etc,. 
  
• Check and/or review of plot plan / piping layout. 
  
• Navisworks operation skills. 
  
• Check and/or review of structural loading data for pipe-racks, structures, etc,. 
  
• Check and/or review of nozzle orientation, platform arrangement for equipment. 
  
• Check and/or review of LC/LG arrangement. 
  
• S3D/E3D/AP3D operation skills
