Assessment & Profiling Conduct developmental, behavioral, cognitive, and socio-emotional assessments using standardized tools (e.g., VSMS, DST, MISIC, Conners, M-CHAT, CARS, etc.) Profile children’s functional strengths and challenges through observation and structured parent interviews Prepare comprehensive yet parent-friendly reports with actionable insights and recommendations 2. Parent Interaction & Guidance Explain findings to parents with clarity, empathy, and empowerment Offer initial direction on intervention priorities , home strategies, or referrals if needed Build trust with families who may be dealing with emotional overwhelm post-diagnosis 3.
