Informatica Developer

As an Informatica IDMC Developer at Coforge, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS). You will collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather and comprehend data requirements. Your role will involve integrating data from various sources including databases, APIs, and flat files, and optimizing data workflows for enhanced performance, scalability, and reliability. Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL jobs to address data quality issues will be a part of your daily tasks. Implementing data governance and security best practices will also be crucial, along with maintaining detailed documentation of data flows, transformations, and architecture. Your contribution to code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives will be valued. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (IICS) and cloud-based ETL tools. Proficiency in SQL and prior experience working with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL is essential. Additionally, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery are required. Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities are highly desirable qualities for this role. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, as well as knowledge of data modeling and metadata management. Holding certifications in Informatica or cloud platforms will be considered a plus.
