Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Placement cum

Industry Relationships Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong

relationships withindustry partnersand facilitatingtheplacement of our studentsinto suitable

employment opportunities. You will also play a vital role in bridging the gap between the

academic sector and the industry by establishing and maintaining fruitful collaborations. The

ideal candidate should have excellent communication and networking skills, a strong

understanding of industrytrends, anda passion for career development and student success.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, companies, and

organizationstopromotecollaborationandfacilitateplacementopportunitiesfor our

students.

2. Act asaliaisonbetweentheacademicinstitutionandindustrypartners, ensuring

effective communication and alignment of objectives.

3. Proactivelyidentifypotential employmentopportunities,internships,andprojectsfor

students, coordinating with relevant departments and faculties.

4. Organizeandconductcareerdevelopmentworkshops,seminars,andguestlectures to

enhance students' employability skills and industry awareness.

5. Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide guidance and support to students

regardingcareerplanning,resumebuilding,interviewskills,andjobsearchstrategies.

6. Stayupdatedonindustrytrends, jobmarketdemands,andemergingcareer

pathways to provide relevant and up-to-date information to students.

7. Collect andanalyzefeedbackfrom industry partnersandemployerstoidentifyareas for

improvement in the curriculum and training programs.

8. Collaboratewiththemarketingteamtopromotetheinstitution'splacement services and

highlight successful student placements and industry collaborations.

9. Maintainaccuraterecordsofstudentplacements,internships,andindustry

partnerships for reporting purposes.

10.Keeptrackof employmentmarkettrends, salaryranges, andjobrequirementsto

provide insights and guidance to students and faculty.

11.Attendindustryevents, careerfairs, andnetworkingconferencestobuildconnections and

stay updated on industry developments.

12.UtilizeLinkedInandotherprofessional networkingplatformstoexpandthe

institution's industry network and engage with potential employers.

13.Leverageyourexpertiseindesignhiring, specificallyinareassuchasGraphicDesign, Web

Design, UI/UX Design, to provide specialized guidance and support to students

interested in these fields.

14.Collaboratewithdesignfacultiesandindustry professionalstodevelopdesign-

focused programs, workshops, and internship opportunities.

QualificationsandSkills:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinarelevantfield(Business,HR,Education,orrelateddisciplines). A

master's degree is a plus.

• Provenexperienceinplacements, careerservices, orindustryrelationswithinan

academic or corporate environment.

• Strongnetworkingandrelationship-buildingskills,withtheabilitytoengageand

collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Excellentcommunicationskills, bothwrittenandverbal,withtheabilitytoeffectively

present information and ideas.

• Knowledgeofindustrytrends,labormarketdynamics,andcareerdevelopment

practices.
