Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress in JavaScript and TypeScript . Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating automated tests. Debug and troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs and test reports. Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in testing and automation. Ensure test coverage and traceability by maintaining clear and concise test documentation. Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC , providing input on requirements, design, and implementation to ensure testability. Monitor, maintain, and improve test environments and automation frameworks. Work closely with developers to isolate and reproduce defects. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 6+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Cypress . Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing test scripts. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Solid coding skills with experience in building scalable test frameworks. Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Working knowledge of version control systems like Git . Role & responsibilities : Develop and maintain Performance Tests using LoadRunner or Jmeter. Creating and maintaining Performance Automations using Jenkins. Analyze performance test Results and Present the results to relevant stake holders. Analyze the Performance issues and provide recommendations to Dev team. Monitor the application under test during the Test Executions. Creating performance monitoring dashboards using any APM tools like Datadog, AppD, Grafana etc. Test new versions for performance regressions. Creating Performance Test Plan as per the NFRs. Working closely with developers, architects, QA and DevOps. Position Requirements: Requirements: BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent. At least 6 years of experience in performance engineering. At least 3 experience in performance testing with LoadRunner/Jmeter (especially with Web, TruClient and Java over HTTP protocols). Proven experience in developing load test scripts/scenarios, system monitoring, detecting problems and analyzing/validating execution results. Strong skills in identifying, diagnosing, and solving compound performance issues as well as providing detailed technical analysis. Knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages (Java -preferred, JavaScript, Python, Perl). Experience working with cloud products and Knowledge in Cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure). Knowledge and experience of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS). Excellent Linux knowledge with proven experience in both OS commands and machine monitoring. Familiarity with application performance monitoring - Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog or similar. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
