JOB SUMMARY :Carryout cable assembly work as per drawings,JOB SPECIFICATION : Education:DIPLOMA in Electronics

Experience:3 years in Assembly

works Skills:Interpretation of complex Drawings, control plans etc.
Visual accuracy in assembly of cablesKnowledge of various types of cables used in assemblyConcentration and 100% accuracy in cable laying work

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Study the cable assembly drawing and arrange for necessary material.
2. Check material availability as per part number.
3. Check sub-assemblies for both quantity and quality.
4. Layout the drawing on the laying board and make appropriate preparation for assembly of cable.
5. Refer control plan and work instructions and carryout assembly of cable on the laying board.
6. Exercise caution and concentration in cable assembly work; refer in process check sheet during all stages of assembly work; record conformance at each stage in the check sheet.
7. Remove the assembled cable and offer for QA inspection.
8. Carryout any rectification as instructed by the QA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Carryout 100% inspection of crimping operation.
2. Sort out defective crimping and arrange for rework or reproduction.
3. Analyse crimping defects and suggest preventive action.

Inspector Cable Assembly

JOB SPECIFICATION : Education:DIPLOMA in Electronics

Experience:3 years experience

Skills:Visual accuracy in inspection
Interpretation of drawingsCasting of cablesMeasurement of accuracy

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Carryout random in process inspection during cable assembly work.
2. Check in process check sheet maintained by production operations.
3. Carryout final inspection of 100% finished cable assemblies.
4. Ensure conformance as per check list criteria.
5. Carryout continuity test with tester, dimensional check, layers as per drawing etc. during final inspection.
6. Enter inspection details in final inspection check list and dimensional inspection report; send a copy of these reports along with the cable assembly to the customer.
7. Arrange for rework or reproduction wherever required.
8. Coordinate with production department for quality related issues.
