Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning and Implementation:
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals, focusing
on improving efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth workflow, optimal resource
allocation (including manpower, equipment, and materials), and adherence to production
schedules.
• Quality Control:
Establish and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure that all products meet
or exceed established quality standards and customer requirements.
• Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of manufacturing personnel, providing guidance,
support, and performance feedback.
• Process Optimization:
Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes, implement solutions to
enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Budget Management:
Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations, ensuring cost-effective
resource utilization and adherence to financial targets.
• Safety and Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant safety regulations
and industry standards.
• Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring optimal levels of raw materials and
finished goods to support production and minimize carrying costs.
• Maintenance and Repair:
Supervise the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, coordinating with
maintenance staff to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Reporting and Analysis:
Analyze production data, quality control reports, and other operational metrics to identify
trends, troubleshoot issues, and make data-driven decisions.
• Project Management:
Participate in new product development and design processes, ensuring that new
products are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and
equipment used in machine building.
• Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams
effectively.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve
operational issues.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles, including budgeting,
resource allocation, and strategic planning.
