Job Description

As a Tax Associate at Intuit Management Consultancy in India, your primary responsibility will be planning and ensuring compliance with Direct and Indirect Tax Regulations applicable to the company in India, U.A.E., and Singapore. You will be in charge of IT computation, filing IT returns, and filing TP certificates before the due date. It will be your duty to keep the organization informed about the implications of various tax laws on business decisions and provide continuous advice to business leadership on tax implications. Your role will also involve dealing with tax authorities, working with external resources for advice and resolutions, and interacting with advocates and consultants on business issues. You will be responsible for various tax compliance activities such as computations, deposits, returns, assessments, appeals, Tax Audit, certification for Transfer Pricing, Tax Deductions at Source (TDS), and ensuring statutory records are maintained and updated. Your tasks will include studying intercompany transactions and transfer pricing implications, reviewing work papers for supporting annual tax returns, and managing departmental audits for GST, Excise, and Service Tax. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in making critical decisions as part of a corporate tax management team, ensuring all compliances related to direct and indirect taxation are adhered to, and advising cross-functional teams on tax perspectives. In this role, you will manage and participate in the successful delivery of international tax engagements, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and build client networks and relationships. You will collaborate with a team of International Tax professionals across regions and industries, contributing to building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service. Furthermore, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team across various service lines to pursue, manage, and deliver engagements, maintaining your technical knowledge to better advise clients on the global developments in the international tax landscape. To qualify for this position, you should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 10 years of experience in Corporate Tax Department, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, or Finance. Post qualification experience of 15-20 years, largely focused on direct and indirect taxes, is preferred. You should have a track record of competent handling of complex tax matters, up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and rules, expertise in Accounting Standards, and proficiency in operating ERP based integrated applications.
